I hope this gets released soon so we can play backgammon the way it was meant to be played: with a doubling cube and hopefully without a ridiculous dice algorithm.

I agree, this backgammon is one of the most bad constructed I have played.
Every possibility to use skill is missing in this backgammon.

playing 1 point game on arene is totally ridiculous. I played on the RIP GammingZone site (the good old time) and it was the best site ever with lot of tournaments, teams tournaments, annual tournament best of 9 annual finals (2048 players single elim.) that you needed to qualified within weekly/monthly1bi annual tournaments ... well we are so far away from that but it have the potential to do something looks like PRO.

Best of 3 at least with Crawford rule.

The fact that this thread is now almost a year and a half old tells me that the admins here have no intention of improving the platform.

Any chanches for this? The current backgammon is actually a much ingerior game to the real one because thst omisison of the double cube.

Also, please allow people to redo their movement before confirming, that's how backgammon IRL is played!

Doubling should affect the amount of ELO gained or lost.
