Is this planned to replace the existing single-game implementation on the site?

Very excited by the prospect of an improved Backgammon. +1 for the ability to play both single-game and multi-game matches.
Re: Backgammon v2 - coming soon !
Interesting, i'll try it as soon as it will be available on beta.

wow amazing. Best regards! it was sorely lacking and finally arose.
What type of games will be played in arena mode? (1 point game or matches?)
Suggestions:
1. make the faster animation of checkers movement.
2. make forced checkers moves automatic.
3. try to fix time management: i think 2 minutes is too much for a one move.

The dice as-is are simply not random. It is impossible.
For example here: https://backgammongalaxy.com/
Or in live play it is typically win one, lose one etc.
On BGA it is either a 15-game winning or losing streak.
Nobody can tell me otherwise.

When you have win-one-lose-one, someone has meddled with the randomness, because randomness has no memory. When it's truly random you usually see a mix of many different length of streaks. While you see short streaks more often, you definitely won't have a smooth/even up-and-down pattern. Long streaks in general happen more often than you would think by intuition.Sunshine-Mimosa wrote: ↑09 March 2022, 22:33 For example here: https://backgammongalaxy.com/

Hosting Allround-League: https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=7870115 --> a league where you have matches of random games vs. other players in your group - season 6 started in Nov. '23 with 128 participants.
