The Boss

We are pleased to welcome on Board Game Arena "The Boss", a game from Alain Ollier published by Blackrock éditions.

"The Boss" is both original and simple to learn. During the game, you try to take control of a set of American cities with your gangster teams. When you manage to be the player with the most gangsters in a city at the end of a hand, you win the city card placed face down under the city. Gaining a city card is sometimes good (money, money, money!) and sometimes... not so good (ex: a gangster is killed).

Obviously, the whole idea is to guess which card has been placed under which city. In order to do this, the remaining cards are shared between players, Consequently everyone has a partial view of what is to be won. Of course you have to play these cards during the round - and thus give some piece of information to your opponents.

To win, you need to bet on the good cities and give the right information at the right time: a little bit of luck and a lot of bluff.

On BGA you can also play with The Boss extension: the new "Saint Louis" card.

Board Game Arena would like to thank Blackrock éditions and Alain Ollier for this adaptation!

It's a cool game :3.

The game has a lot of intrigue, and somewhat monotonous play of 2..., 3 or 4 can give good fun xD

Any chance that we'll eventually have all of the choices for starting characters available to us for 2 and 3 player games?
