Project for IT student

Hi,
I am studying computer science and this semester I need to participate in project consisting of 3+ people.
It should be bigger long-living project and I should spend about 120 hours on it. The purpose of it is to use best practices, get the feeling of how it works in real IT world and so on...
I was wondering if there is something what would fit for me here in BGA studio. (contributing to LLVM projects is little too much for me
)
I checked that almost every game is developed by 1 or 2 developers so I am not sure if there is someone who would actually welcome my participation in it.
But I can imagine that I could help with other stuff than board games, something like participating in new view of website, new functions and so on.
I am new here but I am pretty sure I will get quickly into it
So let me know!
I would love to hear some advice from you, guys.
Many thanks!
