Recently Moderated

I recently received a moderation. It was deserved, however, I also reported the other player - who was the instigator - and their punishment was far less severe.

I received:
1)final warning before ban (this was my first time being moderated)
2) 3 day chat ban
3) -50 reputation

They received:
1) warning (not final)
2) -3 reputation

I also never received an email from BGA so I don't know what the appeal procedure is. I feel that either some of my reputation should be reinstate and the final warning remover OR the other player should receive the same punishment as I received.

Context: Other player (OP) was out of time and I expelled them. Right after I hit expel I noticed they had said in chat they were still there. I responded 'sorry just saw this'. OP became aggressive and started hounding on me for being mean and not considerate and then resorted to calling me a Trump voter and various things related to that. I said a version of 'be quiet unintelligent person' but didn't use profanity. OP proceeded to watch the rest of the game and say things like 'thats karma' and the like whenever something bad happened to me in the game.

Can anyone tell me how to appeal since I never received the email? I have tried contacting the site to say I didn't receive such an email but have not received a response.

I think he is asking about how to appeal, and complaining about the fact that there is no e-mail received about the moderation, on the e-mail address he has BGA associated with.

To the OP: you can only contest the Moderation, using the page you first saw the moderation on! The one with "i accept and agree" at the bottom of the page. I think there is a link or e-mail address there, of some sort, which you can use to appeal the moderation. But be careful not to close that page.

I am not sure that you get to see the same appealing address or whatever, on the report page found on your account, in case you closed the initial moderation page too fast (by clicking the "i agree blah blah", and then closing the page).

Yes, which is why I provided the e-mail listed under "Appeal" and linked the moderationpolicy.

For some reason, the 1st. link you posted takes me to the user's account.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. So apart from the INITIAL MODERATION PAGE, you also can see the e-mail to which one might appeal, by visiting the 2nd. link (the moderation policy).

The moderation policy doesn't have a standard penalty for reputation.

Is there anyway to appeal a moderation you submitted against another player where the moderated didn't follow policy?

Moderators should have to submit their reasoning for why a penalty above the standard was given. According to the policy I should have been considered for a less severe penalty not a more severe one.

'Chat mute' penalties set the Karma to 50%. Bans set the Karma to 0%

yeah, i think this is unfair to what he dose that you did, he none-stop insult you after you kick him out of the table (being out of time like you said (that is a rule to never surpass your time)) and you just said something a bit off and get this very strict modereation, while the other did everything wrong and only a simple warning whit -3 karma? What is wrong whit moderators, moderating the (censured) out of someone just said something a bit insulting and letting the other one whit a simple warning while he literraly said like 3 or more times insults.

Since this, we should put that guy who destroyed your rep. while doing way worst than you 100% of red thumbs!

Hi I need to appeal a moderation too, but there was no email and no way to reach this off my reputation page. it just says there that its in an email but there is no email even on this website?

Is it really true that like the first notification that you get is the only way to access this? i was playing with friends so i just screenshot it, but there was nothing that i could see about an appeal on this even. there should be away to appeal later though?
