Why wait on other players before starting a new round

In turn based games confirming that you want to continue to the next round takes up a turn but no real action is done. Would it be possible to confirm continuing and selecting the first card in a single turn? This would speed up turn based games a bit.

Should this be raised as a bug against Sushi Go! game itself instead of on forum?

No, because I need time to write down the number of sashimi, tempura and dumplings to know if the deck is heavy or light on these cards.
