Flume is related to Dots and Boxes.

In Flume, there is only placement – to any unoccupied square. The only game logic is to determine how many adjacencies your placed checker formed. If it’s 3 or 4, place another checker, and so on. Then when the (odd sized) board fills up, whoever has the most checkers wins.

I’ve played Flume many times. It’s a good game.

I presented Zola as a super simple game. And it is, conceptually. But from a programming perspective, Flume’s simplicity is hard to beat. If you can follow the Gomoku tutorial, you can program Flume.
