finished a game in 3rd place, BGA re-put me last? UNFAIR!

i did finish my laps in RMGT, but then the time was out and i suddently getting last place (was the one that used the most), but i feel cheated whit a 3 points penality, while i finished before the time was out, it's very unfair!
We need to do this thing to not penalise the ones that finished their laps in that game, but having the lowest time possible, but instread, it's would check down the ones that was still in the race, (might be the same whit werewolfes and few others too, but a bit inverted).
So basically: If you finish the laps, then the time isn't accounted in your account
it's like that we penalise someone that did get 3rd place legally and make him a big time penality because the race was too long and now they decided that the 3rd place did something wrong, but everything told the opposite.
And this wasn't on my control, since i finished the laps, like i said before.

True they should have kicked you out of the game instead of letting you finish the race.

...
why such comment like that? it's like not allowing a victory, and just waiting to end should be illegal. We should have a newer countdown when it's having few time remaining. we was waiting for green for 7 hours straight. just to then, give the unballence score...
In this one, i understood that in a 3 or + player tournament, you give the score equaly, making no sense. But, we should have a special coundown at like 1/7 remaining (in this case, 1 day) and whoever use it the most at this period should be first, getting last, then compare between the ones who crossed the line on it.
should also not account the ones that finish if they finishing game (if elimination or finish the race). It like putting last someone who forget only once, his gameplay and yet, someone else did wait to get 4th or 5th, instread of 6th, even purple got like 3rd place, while it was 5th or 6th.
And where i want to come, (taken an example of a tournament 4 players in Crazy Farmers, not sure it exist) is the fact that you are eliminated in a game, but still out of time and 3rd, the two remaining could make the game wait and wait and wait, until the game have all of his time out. See! there's some unfair part, like the other one (get eliminated before you) get your place instread, while he did get eliminated first.

To make a point of your previous thread about tournaments, where if I recall you believed people were in the right to skip people during multiplayer tournaments as soon as they were out of time. (And if you came last there, you must have been over the time limit when you finished, so your complaint is people didn't end it via skipping your turn)
But yes this one is actually a problem I suppose, but it's from people not knowing how long turn based games take with average people all over the world when the tournaments are created, a problem with them regardless of how many players.
I believe the general principle for how long you should set your time limits for, start a simple mode game with the settings you want at 1/move per day. Assuming that you don't all end up on at once and finish the game real time, take how long it took to finish and double it - that's how long you need for the tournament.
Or at least it's the one I follow when choosing whether or not to join a tournament.
(Just a pity I didn't actually check the settings of win 2 hands in the red7 tournament I joined, as it fails that test if you end in the 3rd hand, and it therefore can suffer from someone having a lot of time up their sleeves after losing a hand early if it then reaches the 4th or 5th)

i wasn't the guy who posted this tournament, so basically, i couldn't do nothing about it.
the title suggest that it was a local tournament in a specific province, but people in international seem to have joined whiteout asking and stuff like that. And i'm from there, so technically, i got penalized while others didn't respect the locality.

I remember that you were very vocal on you having the right to kick a player out of time. Then you don't respect the time limit, and get penalised. And you say it's unfair. Do you see the contradiction?

the difference it's i actually finished, but when the play didn't finished, i could understand, but not when you have technically speaking, finish the game.
