Algorithm for deciding ties in single elimination tournaments?

Hey folks,

Ties are rare in Yahtzee but they do happen occationally, and they normally result in a drawn game (0,5 points each in round robin tournaments).

However, in single elimination tournaments, a winner must be chosen, and is chosen by the website, but I can't find a clear logic by which that player is selected. I've seen counter examples to my initial assumptions that the win would go to the faster player, or the player with a higher ELO.

Do you know how these ties are decided by the game engine? Would it make sense to add those to the game page's rules?

Many thanks,
Dunaril
