Board Game Arena

I'm sorry to announce that Catan GmbH and Hans im Glück asked us to remove games "Settlers of Catan" and "Carcassonne".

We are very sad about this decision, because we all know that having these games on Board Game Arena has a real positive impact on physical copy sells. Unfortunately they are not comfortable with this kind of advertisement.

We hope to find soon a new model of development that satisfy everyone, with only one goal: share our passion for board games.

We hope you will continue to appreciate this service.

Well, I am not too surprised, as you did not ask permission to put these games online...

The websites audience has grown steadily and more than doubled since the last talks with publishers are there any chances to get Carcassonne back ?

Those are some very popular games that we would love to play. I already own them and I'm sure having online would only make me want the expansions more. I think I'll write them and let them know how letting us post their games is better for everyone!

We'll never get Catan because that would directly compete with their own web site.
Carcassonne maybe - there are version of Hunters & Gathers, and Castle on other web sites so maybe...
