Double trouble to not struggle!
On my left side, Jekyll Vs. Hyde.
On my right side, Rest in Peace.
Two games sharing common points:
- They're BOTH all-new and just-released-games you can NOW find in any good boardgame shop.
- They're BOTH two-player only games.
- They're BOTH exploiting their own unique mechanisms.
- They're BOTH brilliantly developed.
- They're BOTH worth a try.
But they're DIFFERENT. In many ways.
That's why we're sharing a never-seen before Wednesday release today.
Pay attention, it's TOTALLY worth diving into this.
On the right side:
REST IN PEACE.
Published by Blue Cocker (Welcome to, Save the Meeples, etc...) and designed by Fabien Gridel, REST IN PEACE is a 2-player game in which you play a family of ghosts, composed of 21 cards (from 1 to 6). Each round, you will be fighting for a Mansion, trying to outbid your opponent. Managing your hand will be critical, and knowing when to withdraw from a fight might lead you to the final victory.
The game is mainly focused on guessing, a bit of bluffing, and is very tactical.
Thanks to Archduke, our developer, you can play the game on BGA in our best implementation. We would also like to thank the publisher, Blue Cocker, and especially Alain Balaÿ, who made it happen.

On the left side:
JEKYLL VS HYDE:
Published by Mandoo Games (Rising 5, Manhattan, etc...) and designed by Geonil, JEKYLL VS HYDE is a trick-taking game for 2 players based on the famous novella Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. As Dr. Jekyll, you'll need to resist Mr. Hyde's fierce attacks to protect your mind and keep the secret of your dual nature. As Mr. Hyde, your goal is to dominate Dr. Jekyll and overcome his identity.
The game is a mind-bending trick-taking game with a lot of strategies, a bit of bluffing, and hand management.
Thanks to the developer, Moof, the game is working wonderfully on the platform, and we would like to thank the publishing team as well as the people behind InstaPlay that made it possible.
Not decided about which side you'll go? Jekyll OR Hyde? Try it here:
The feel and gameplay mechanisms of each game are very different and will bring you different experiences depending on your gaming taste and opponent.
That's why they're released at the same time. So YOU can decide which one you prefer- if not both of them.
They are 2 player games, easy to learn, and so fast that you can play both of them blissfully.
Then you can tell us about what you liked about each of them, right here.
They are both now officially available in stores, so if you really enjoy them you can also support them and their publishers by getting a physical copy of these games.
TWO 2 player games that are this good doesn't happen very often.
That's the first time we have done this on Board Game Arena, and we're expecting some nice conversation about both titles, their mechanisms, and their development.
So now, tell us which one you prefer and why.
It's all a matter of taste and preferences. And we would love to read them.
Enjoy the variety, enjoy the diversity,
AND LET'S CELEBRATE DIFFERENCES!
