Arena Climbing the ladders -> so hard??

Hi all,
can somebody please explain to me, why it is in Solo Arena so hard to climb ladders? In all other Arena games I can easily climb with an average win rate.
In Solo Arena I win also average, but I cannot get from Gold to Elite although played more than 80 games.
Example on Arena points for my results:
1st place rating: +3/+2
2nd place rating: +1/0/-1
3rd place rating: -1/-2
4th place rating: -3/-4

Just went 1st place vs even enemies (their arena ranking and elo points equal mine) and I got only +2 Arena points. Whereas if I lose I always get -3 or even -4 arena points deducted. Sth. must be wrong here or?
