Running out of time

Hello everybody,

yesterday i lost 3 games, in which my opponent run out of time, but nothing happend. I clicked the butten because of timeplay an then i always had to wait 20 more seconds on every turn, till my opponent will lost the game?
Did i anything wrong? Or is there a bug? In my opinion: if i click the button because of timeplay, my opponent has to lost instandly. I am mad to see, that such a time problem is possible on this website

When you click to expell a player, the system give him 20s to make a move. If he do, the game continue. If not, he is explelled and you win.

Similarly, what happens when you choose "cancel game" instead of "wait" or "expel"? (Where do I read about these things? Is there a Q&A?)
