Nice maths. 3rd party API definitely not the route to go down for a game like this. 100% you are right to be working from a hard coded list.

I used to (that post was from 2 months ago). Nowadays I play with NWL more than 12dicts.
12dicts is fairly restrictive, so everyone has to play safer than usual.
This aspect increases the importance of risk management and drops value of rare consonants a bit.
It makes Hardback less word gamey, closer to deck building side.
