Background pattern for table - multiple options to choose from, rather than being stuck with wood

Although just aesthetic, I have to admit the skeuomorphic light wooden pattern as site/background isn't the best match for everything and might look a bit dated. I wouldn't scrap it from the site, but I'd rather offer some more options as personal preferences, without having to tinker with CSS as user.
If I'm not mistaken, I read a post about Quantum with a brushed metal mod, which goes well with chi-fi themes and is perhaps less distracting.
Solid colours or minimalistic/flat choices are nice too, IMO.
