Table is stuck at "opening the box" screen

And it isn't going anywhere, there's no way to quit out of it, there's no way to contact the staff about this other than posting here, I don't care about karma or whatever, I just want it to go away. It might be my mistake for playing a game that's in beta, I don't know -- but something is broken and there's no way I can find to fix it

After 1. refreshing, go to 2. your account page, or to 2'. the game lobby page (the page with all the game tables), and at the top of the screen you have 3. "You are playing Chess" (for instance); 4. click on the blue Chess text and you will be directed to the same page of the game table, that Tisaac wrote about, above.
5. Click the red "go to game" button and voilà...
It is not rocket science, and I agree that the bugs are annoying; but people who simply wait until forever without sensing anything off with the game they just accepted, are not ok either.
It also goes for the ones who you explain with clear details what to do, via game chat or PM, and still don't manage to refresh page or click the game link you sent them by PM, and get in the game link in time.

What about when a game partially loads and then freezes totally, such that the hamburger menu is inoperative and therefore there is no way for either player to get to the "propose to abandon" button. Is there any easy way to kill off a game, apart from quitting and losing karma?

ETA: Games do eventually go away if both players wait long enough. That game was auto-cancelled after 6 hours.
