Board Game Arena

Even though Hardback is not out of beta yet, opening a poll for future Arena setup would be helpful.
However multiple polls cannot be created in a single post.
So I'll create a post for each poll.
This poll is about the dictionary.

Using 12dicts limits the word pool, but because of it 12dicts rewards reliable deck composition and increase risk of buying rare consonants.
In contrast, NWL (American Scrabble) and CSW (British Scrabble) accept far more words. CSW is broader than NWL though.

'Free choice' means players can choose which dictionary to use in their own games.

Thanks for creating these polls, ufm. This will be useful when it is time to setup the Arena mode for Hardback.

Unfortunately, I do not believe "free choice" is possible. I think the BGA admins require every option to be pre-set to a specific value for Arena games.

Some Arena options are set to (free choice) (e.g. Stone Age: Anniversary elements), and players can choose which one to use.
It seems there is a sort of priority among them (e.g. Stone Age creates base game tables first when all options are on),
but choosing one is definitely possible.

Oh, excellent. In that case, I think free choice is the best option for the dictionary.
