Board Game Arena

I am traveling to the Big Island, Portugal, Spain and Japan in the next year. I love chatting with people from those countries and getting their opinions on great places to visit and what they love about their home country or state. Is there a way to do a search by country to find new friends to play with?

I think it would be fun to be able to search by language too as I speak a few and like to keep up my fluency when I'm not in that country any more. It would be nice to be able to chat in those languages.

You could try looking for player groups from that country, they will also often be in their native language.

How do you look for a player group? On the forum?

On the Community tab: https://boardgamearena.com/community. The search feature is pretty bad though.

The most popular groups are listed here: https://boardgamearena.com/grouplist. You could try to display them all to look through them, but that just seems to crash for me.
