I played a lot of games and personaly I think that 3 player games often end up too fast for my taste.

Usually 2 people rush to tech 4 and 1 of the 2 extra achievments are usually done as well at this point. Game done.

In 2 player games you need the same 3 achievments but its a lot slower because 1 player can actually control the paste without fearing a very fast end. Its just not possible for the other one to rush 3 achievments at once.

In 4 players the 4 achievments buys some more time and usually the tech 3/4 research stuff is too crowded to have 3 people climb fast to Tech IV.

yes it is short relatively, if players know well the game.

One of the things that differ good player from very good player is when will game end and how to leverage that ending, final round.
