Martian chess

Great game very interesting but we had a game with only 4 black pieces left at the end and it seemed like it wouldn’t end. Could happen with 3 black pieces and probably some other arrangements they could be endlessly moved back and forth or around and never all end up on one side. Maybe a gentleman agreement whomever is ahead at the point of the stalemate is the winner? As it was it was never going to end without sacrificing pieces or acquiescing and helping end the game while behind. It seems like a flaw in the original game not a programming issue.
