How do you actually use these in a word once they have been used the first time and are reserved for you or other players ?

The interface does not seem to work or am I missing something.

On your turn, click the card (or drag-drop it) to move it to current word area. You can't put it into your hand, so you can't use it out-of-turn.

If it's your card, you get the benefit every turn, no matter whether you use it or not.

It works ok. It was an early experience and learning the interface issue which is why I never contemplated listing it as a bug.
