Length of Arena mode games

Just got done with an Arena mode game that lasted almost four hours: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=181559495
Is the default length for a Tichu game in Arena mode always 2000 points? Is there a way to request a shorter default length? Those of us at the table were good sports and stuck around to play the whole game so as not to disappoint each other, but fatigue was a real issue.
Realizing that a four-hour game is a very real possibility in Arena mode discourages me from playing there in the future. It also made me wonder if that's why it's pretty difficult to scrape together a game in Arena mode...do others feel the same way?
