Board Game Arena

I've only played hereon BGA and was thinking of grabbing an IRL copy but just came across a situation I wanted to make sure I was playing right, so I wanted to check on with others. I didn't notice an earning limit in the rulebook, but suppose I could have missed it. For the places of power that earn VP based on stored energy, is there a limit? If so is it universal to all similar Places? or is it just the Alchemist's Tower that stopped me at 10?
Alternatively, if there is no limit... is this a bug or a mis-programmed rule?

theres no limit, u can get as high points as u want/can.
