Is there a way to play a game in English or any other specific language without changing one's global linguistic preference ?

I usually play in French and I like to have the web site in French but there are a few games where I would prefer to play in English so that I can discuss with the other players and use the proper English names for the various cards or effects of the game. (Helpful for instance when you play a cooperative game with people using a different language)

Once in a while, I was told by the engine that I could play a game in English because it was unable to load the translations so I guess it's possible but I don't know how.

I will answer my own question.

Once you have the url of your table, you can add "&lang=en" at the end of the URL to get the table in ENglish

For instance, my current RFTG game's url is:
https://boardgamearena.com/9/raceforthe ... =184774663

When I use that URL, I see the game in the language set in my preferences.

To play that particular table in English without changing my overall preference, I can load the following page:
https://boardgamearena.com/9/raceforthe ... 63&lang=en

There are some limits to that:

If I do a "replay from" at a table that I forced to english, that replay from will be done in my usual language.
I can however force the "replay from" to also be in english by appending &lang=en to the url of the replay/

You can of course use that for any language as long as you know the code of that language (en for English, ja for Japanese,...)
