Board Game Arena

I'm confused. The new Arena season has just started, so how has it been possible for some people to amass over 1600 points already in some games? Do they just not sleep or something, or is there something more sinister going on?

you start at 1500, it takes about 6 games (if you win them all) to get over 1600.
