I don't want to be banned for cheating or for insults, but I should quit playing, since I'm wasting everyone else's time and I'm too stupid to learn from others' skill or even my own mistakes. Can I have my membership disabled for my own good? (I don't need the $2/month returned.)

Hey don't call yourself stupid, you are better than average or close to average at several games.
(And in some games, you don't need to be very good to have fun!)

I'm much too stupid to be allowed to play this game (or most others), but keep wasting everyone's time by playing it. Any suggestions for how to quit?

This indeed. This may be someone with bad intentions, but why even go the lengths to post this on the forum and now ruin the profile for the person.

If I were to be evil and willing to destroy someones account, I'd play some games, quit them, ruin my karma, make some profanities in chat, either egt banned or be unpleasant to play with anymore, get lots of red thumbs.

Deleting your account is irreversible. All your rankings, trophies, statistics and Premium membership will be lost. You won't be able to register again with this email address on BGA.

Something on that particular page we won't link to anymore is saying something wrong, and BGA is making a BIG mistake in their wording. If you truly delete the account, its info should be scraped, but if it is scraped, then how can the same e-mail no longer be used to re-subscribe? Unless they do keep the account(and thus e-mail address) on record, but instead put it in suspension. But then it is not deleted as was promised. This could be a big GDPR issue.

Okay, I do have to admit that they are required to keep some data, especially since a payment is involved, they can't delete a user as if it never happened or otherwise their accounting can't trace back a payment in case of an audit, and that is a big no-no. But still...

Looks to me like a "little brother get access to the computer and type 'I'm very stupid and I have no brain, please delete this account' on every social media his big brother is registered to" kind of situation.

I hope MoiMagnus is right and the original owner manages to reclaim it before it is abused or even deleted (or that he just has an extremely strange sense of humour).

Well, it seems that the mods answered my question: the answer is 'Yes; the first time you ask such a hypothetical question you'll get a warning, and presumably you'll be banned if you do it again.' I appreciate knowing this, although the answer 'Yes. Don't ask stupid questions' would have sufficed.
