Why Can't I Buy This Card?

Can anyone explain why I am not able to purchase the Town Hall? I have completed the first stage of my wonder so I have all of the resources needed to buy the card. Stuff like this happens from time to time.
Has anyone else had issues like these.

I imagine there blue "6" on your player board, conveniently highlighted with a red border as it was the last card you played, is also a Town Hall. You can't have duplicate cards, so you can't have another Town Hall.

It’s because you can build the same card twice and you just bought another town hall in the previous round (see red highlight around your blue 6 card)

As others have explained, it's an incorrect error message that has been there for ages:

Sadly, the game is not seeing any active development.
