Is there way of displaying whether a large or small flock as been collected once they fly home? You can win with three large flocks but the scoring doesn't say whether you collected two small flocks, two large flocks, or one of each.

No, actually, a small flocks gives you 1 bird of that species, a large 2. So 3 smalls or 1 large, 1 small is enough to win, if 7 species is too long... The panel shows you how many birds you have of each species.
