Board Game Arena

Hi, fellow BGA user, I don't know where to put this complain (I'd try to make it more like suggestion), but I wanna shout it out anyway

As the title said, BGA always been a wonderful community, especially during this pandemic. It is been a year when I start make account here and I always love how players respect each others. Never have that kind of awful experience.

But there is a game, just come out in beta version that attract many new user/player. I feel like the players in that game is more toxic (don't want to tell which game yet). Idk, which is more important: to be careful before release that game first, to be more strict about new user and how they behave, or forget this issues and looking around a table where the players be more respectful.

Even polite and behavior definition can be very subjective, I think we are all agree, insulting and shout out meaning words are not necessary when you are around the table. BGA already have a bunch of template chat that is more wonderful to said, especially around ppl you don't know at all. Cheers!

There's not much point in withholding the game name and specifics. BGA can't do much with the information given here and the game was already released anyway (maybe less visible, but still public). It's not like this post is going to suddenly attract a whole bunch of toxic players.

Judging by your game history, I'm assuming this is about Bang. What problems occur specifically and why do you think this game suffers from it more?

The thing why I don't want mention what game it is bcs I know it is not game-specifics .. it is more about new users I believe. Well, you can't tell others is stupid just bcs they can't play. It is public tables anyway and ppl were learning. It is not about I got attacked, I speak bcs others were insulted, that's all and I think we all need time to learn some game (the reason why there is ELO system here)

Well, that sort of things happened in Hanabi and Werewolves too, so... history repeats itself again.
