I created a tournament that should've started about 2 hours ago yet has no games were created. I didn't assign match dates (didn't even try this time), and it has reached it's minimum players (32 minimum, 66 signed up), so I'm kinda perplexed.

Has anyone seen this before? Should I submit a bug report, or will the games get assigned when the system feels like it?

Also didn't receive the usual email saying that the tournament would start.

Interesting.... Have you seen it happen before? And did you submit a bug report? I'll add to it if you did.

What's weird is it's allowing registration for both tournaments too.

Setup: 16 Groups Round Robin in Phase 1, min 64, Max 192, 142 players registered.

I will reproduce in this topic what I've wrote on another topic. I faced the same issue as you guys, but could not find any reaction from BGA.

Then, an hour later, today, I the saddest thing, after dealing with people's frustration, is to check on the bug report that there is an item there, fulll of reports from people around the world, SINCE 2019, and no feedback ...

I look up today for the tournaments list and seems there are no more tournaments that had not innitiated after the starting time.
Unfortunately no comments from BGA neither in the Forum, nor in the bug report.

What happened?
What was done to solve the issue?
Can we face this issue again in the future?

It was a Sunday, one of the most required days for tournaments, and a lot of people were affected (waking up earlier / sleeping late, cancelling other commitments...)

I had this issue on Sunday in a Carcassonne tournament

Today I tested with a couple of friends, everything was working just fine.

An hour later, we tried to execute the tournament... didn't start.

I thought about the difference between the real tournament and my test: I wasn't participating. I joined and it started.

The other difference was that it was a tournament with 2 players per table and there was 10 players. When I joined, we were 11 so in each round someone couldn't play and was assigned an automatic point.

These were the two difference between the tournament not starting and the tournament starting: organizer in/ out and everybody assigned to a table / someone being left out.
