How are ties determined for tournament play?

Post by Beer4Dad »

Looking for some clarification.

I recently finished up a single elimination tournament game. Final score was tied 12(+1) to 13. We both had the same number of essence for the first tie breaker, but my opponent was awarded the victory.

I am trying to figure out how this was determined, as the rules for the physical game state the victory is shared.

Thanks for the help

Not related to Res Arcana in particular. Have a look here for instance : https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... =8&t=22147

Thank you, but that reference was not accurate.

If the win goes to the player who has been a BGA member longer, I would have won. My opponent joined this year and I have been a member since 2018.
