Tapestry, placing buildings

In Tapestry, am I missing anything with respect to how to place buildings when given the building placement dialog? I am shown the building, and an image of my capital mat, and there seems to be an implication I should click on the square on the mat where I'd like to put the building. But clicking on a square on the mat has no result--as in, as far as I can tell, nothing happens whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong or is this an area still being worked on in the game?

No idea but this is not the good place to post that.

Okay, where should I ask? I don't knoow of any other subforum here that discusses games that are still under development. I could write the developers directly but I don't want to annoy them. I also don't know that this is a bug.

Best place would probably be the "Tapestry players" group, if you want to reach other players but not developers. Otherwise, placing building is working for me; if it doesn't work for you, please create a bug report with all appropriate information so that the developer can check if there is a bug: that's the purpose of alpha, you are not annoying them, you are helping
