I have tried playing a game SOLO but it won't let me. It says I have to pick a friend to play with regardless. Anyone else having this problem?

Are you sure that the game you tried does have a solo mode? It's hard to repsond if you don't give any details (e.g. WHICH game you tried ).

You can play against yourself though in the so called "hot seat mode". There you have to add a friend indeed, but just chose "Add a friend" -> "Are you and your friend sharing the same screen?" -> Choose "Yes" -> Now you can add an imaginary player and play against yourself on your device.

Works only with BGA Premium!

I have the same problem.., I looked in the list of solo game and try to play Railroad Ink, and it tells me I need to pick a friend.

For those needing friends -- Check the rightmost option on the "Play Now" screen. Are you in Friends mode or Manual mode?
