Today I played my first tournament match.
My opponent ran out of time, but the game did not stop.
Is the time limit just a recommendation in tournaments also?
I do not want to be the bad guy and skip someone's turn

BGA does not "call the flag" automatically. It is the decision of the other player whether they want to do it.

If you are comfortable winning on time, then why do you think it makes you a "bad guy" if you call the flag?
