You have reached a limit (invite_alpha)

Earlier today I received the message "You have reached a limit (invite_alpha)" as a red banner after trying to invite two friends to an Alpha game of Parks. I tried to search to find the meaning of this message in the FAQ section and in the forums but did not succeed in doing so. Could someone point me to a page where I can understand what the limitations are on inviting people to Alpha games? I'd specifically like to know how the limitations work and how long they last. For example, where could I see when my limits have ended?

Did you ever get an answer on this? I was having the same problem yesterday.

This is explained on the reviewer group page. The limit is daily.

Aha: from Community "BGA reviewers" (https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=511 ... ublicinfos)

- reviewers (and only reviewers) can now invite other players to their alpha table to facilitate playtesting (invited players are granted access immediately). Thus, reviewers can now have a more active/leading role in organizing playtesting. Please note that there is a limit to the number of invitations (5 per 24h);

So reviewers can play with up to 5 non-reviewers OF THAT GAME per day... good to know since my weekly gaming group is 9 of us, but 2 are reviewers so we can play up to 7 in a game...

That's not completely true. Once you started a game with someone else, he is automatically added to the player group (as for any other game). So you just need to invite 5 of them and cancel your game right away, and same for your friend, and then you can all play at the same table.

Are you sure about that? About playing with 5 players of that game per day. Because I tried to invite 3 of my friends to a game for the very first time and I got the same message and only 2 of them got in. The game dis-invited the 3rd friend and I can't add her without the same red message showing up.

I am 100% unsure, I'm just trying to parse what the page said about 5 invites per 24h of non-reviewers... Had you already invited 3 others earlier?

I have not played enough alpha games with non-reviewers to know for sure... :\
