Wondering if the knowledge of the group can help me with the Containment board's rules. Me and my opponent both ended up with X's -- even though neither of us had played a 12.

Is there some other rule that sends you to the hospital like that?

Bug?

You get an X for each number higher than 12. For example the last turn when you only have 2 more multipliers to choose and the dice give 4 and 5. That is 20 and so higher than 12.
