Board Game Arena

Over the last 3 days or so, I've found it ridiculously hard to get a real-time Arena game going, even for a number of 2-player games. I've gone over 30 minutes without getting a game starting.

Is there a universal red-thumb on my account somewhere? This difficulty in getting a game is not normal.

But indeed, I'm having the same issue.

Same problem here. This is frustrating.
Waiting over half an hour or more to play a 5 minutes game isn't worth the time.
Normally I could continue with the next game almost immediately.
This needs fixing a.s.a.p.

I just tried looking for a few games in Arena mode and found a game of Senet in under 4m

perhaps it's the games you're trying for?

I don't think BGA has any control, it's how many players are actively playing right now, no?

Follow this thread. In theory the changes made to the matching system are reverting back to the old way tomorrow.
