This notif spam is exclusive to turn based tables... I guess that's why I never play turn based too much.

Not at all. With KOT it happens with every (real time) table where you are eliminated. Even if you are the last player to be eliminated and you choose to "stay on the table".

It's for turn based games, but also games with eliminations, like Kot or Coup.
This is handled by Bga framework, as dev of Kot I can't control it. Make a report bug on main website about it.
