Board Game Arena

Discard piles are open to view, but I can't seem to find out how on the site. I assumed that you would tap on a champion's card and it's discarded playcards would be darker or somesuch, but it hasn't happened so far. Have I always looked when there were none of a champion's card in discard pile? Doesn't seem likely. Advice please?
Great game, by the way. And rules are well written.

Further on that, I discovered the bin up next to name and points! I tried to bring a card into my hand (this is a action effect) but it wouldn't let me and I tried all sorts of ways. In retrospect, as I didn't have any cores left, and everything would have been discarded anyway, that was the reason it wouldn't. If I had had a core left, I imagine that it would have obliged? any experience with this?
