Board Game Arena

Hi, I'm the developer of the SteamRollers adaptation (project steamrollersvls) and I sent an email stating that the game was ready for review around 3 weeks ago without hearing from it since. I just wanted to know, given your experience, if that might mean the email fell in the cracks or if it usually takes that long/longer. I developed another game last year (Hoarders) and had the alpha release about 2 weeks after I sent the email stating it was ready for review. I just don't want to bother the team by sending another "reminder" email for nothing.

I can't speak with much authority - hopefully you'll get an answer from one of the more prolific devs here - but for my one game that went to Alpha recently, there were only 5 days from me sending the email to the game getting deployed to Alpha. And that included a weekend. (Sent the email on Friday, the game went to Alpha the following Wednesday.)

It seems fair enough to me to ask here and perhaps send a followup email if it's been 3 weeks. Provided it's polite, of course! I believe they're very busy at the moment, judging off a request I made repeatedly recently and the apologetic response I eventually got. So give it time, but there's no harm in querying.

From the pre-release checklist:

• Send an e-mail to studio@boardgamearena.com asking to move the project forward for Alpha/Review. You cannot deploy yourself from the "manage game" page until a first deploy has been done by the admins. If they don't reply in 3 days send email again, you can also nag on discord channel and forum until you get the attention.
