Board Game Arena

I'm sure this is on here a lot and I'm sorry for not looking very hard, but I remember awhile back finding a requirement of 50 games played, perfect karma, etc, and I can't find where that was again I feel like I've searched all over the site. Anyone have a link to where I can sign up?

Down in BGA pages, you have "Contribute to BGA (...)/I want to help BGA". Click on that and you enter this link: https://boardgamearena.com/contribute

On that link, you have many "bla-bla"s, 1 of which is "Become a reviewer". Click on that and you'll be taken to the link below, which is what you wanted.

There is nothing at the top of this page, that by clicking, would lead to any of those 2 links. Sorry.
Or if you are already a reviewer, you might see extra stuff in bars. Non-reviewers cannot.

The Reviews link in the top menu only exists if you're already a reviewer, so it's no help for someone looking for the page the first time

Is there any other advantage than playing new stuff (Alpha games), in being a reviewer?

And can anyone become, if they meet all conditions? Or is there some filter? As in... someone has to accept or not, one's becoming a reviewer?

Everyone can if the conditions are OK.

It shouldn't be seen as a way to play games earlier, but a way to help BGA & the developpers (but of course you will see new games before the others)

Yes I think so. If you don't want to help developpers brings new game, no use to become a reviewer.

I may be misremembering, or it might have changed since then, but I think that once I met the (some?) requirements, an Alpha section appeared in my Games page (https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist) and clicking there directed to the review page. I remember thinking that I could've resisted the allure of new games if they weren't so visible. Of course, that still doesn't help if requirements aren't met yet.

In addition, often the games that need more help are the lesser known games. The popular ones will get tons of people testing and get enough approvals very quickly, while some abstract and traditional card games will get stuck for months.
