Don’t understand the table at the end - zero points

Hi,
I played 2 games of the Arnak and observed the same at the end.
There were zero points in the first row (the lens and the book) and also zero points in the last row of fear cards that should give -1 points for each you have.
In both games my opponent and I made research and also had those dark -1 victory point fear cards but zero points at the end.
How comes?
