Suggestion: Add a time-per-move option for tournaments

The turn-based tournament system we currently have, has only one time system, which is X time for an entire game. It would be great if we could have a time-per-move system (E.g. 1/2 moves per day, which sound pretty doable even with the worst case scenarios of timezones).

Because the current system can be unplayable with conflicting timezones and if a game requires a decent number of moves.

And while this might have potential downside of a tournament takes longer to finish, I personally prefer to have a tournament take a little longer than the pressure associated with the current system, which affects not only my performance but my real-life as well.

It is worth mentioning that the popular Terra Mystica league on snellman has been running for quite some time using an even more lenient system than the X move per day, you get a lot of extra time, yet, quite often the games usually finish in a month (sometimes slightly longer). Which is pretty solid for a heavy game like Terra Mystica.

I fully support this proposal!
The existing tournament system is very inconvenient for those who are online every day, but for a relatively short time.
Perhaps "X moves per day" tournaments will be less popular. But some of the site's players will be pleased.

Opening normal mode time setting to tournaments is a good idea, and vice versa.
