it would be very helpful if it would be possible to add a comment when opening and before joning to a game:

- in ~ 40-60% of my games >= 1 player leaves the game. I want to write at the beginning: "please only for players who want to play the game till end. Leaving the game because of dislike before the end is unfriendly"

- In some games, such as Pandemic, it is essential that the players discuss what to do next in the chat. >90% of the players in pandemic understand pandemic as a single-player-and-thinker-game like most of the other games are and do not discuss with the others. I don't know why. This is an important info for the players that discussing is absolutely neccessary in this game. It must be a possibility at the start of the game to tell such things the others BEFORE they are joining the game that this is a game where talking with the others is essential!

So we urgently need a possibility for adding a comment at the game before people join.

There is no reason at all Pandemic needs to be played that way. If a player wants to make their own moves and not be told what to do by you that is there prerogative, if you do not like players playing games the way they want do then you should only play with friends who play the game the way you want to.

Your first point is equally disputable. If a player wants to concede at any point permitted by the system (essentially from about half way through) that is up to them, it is entirely up to a player if they prefer to concede lost positions or play them out to the bitter end (or anything in between).

At the bottom of the table configuration box, there is a section that normally says "(no presentation yet) [modify]" Click on that to post a comment visible in the game lobby when people are joining a table.

Additionally, underneath that box there is a "Players around this table now" box. Inside that is access to the chat system for that table.


I'm not sure if the automatic lobby system affects these, but you should be able to at least chat before everyone clicks to accept game play.
