What is a win vs a victory here?

Winning a multiplayer game adds +50% per player bested.
For example, winning a 3 player game adds 150% (instead of 100%), a 4 player game adds 200%, and so on.
Also, finishing in second or lower places still adds some %.

I don’t think finishing below 1st affects this at all.

Another way to think about this is that a 50% win rate is what you’d get if you win the “expected” number of games. So for example half of all the games that you play with two players, one third of all the games that you play with three players, 1/4 of all the games that you play with four players et cetera. If you win more than that you will end up with more than a 50% win rate. If you play a lot of games with more than two players and win lots of them then you can end up with a win rate above 100%.

If you are second in a 4 player game, it counts as a loss vs the first player, but a win vs the third and fourth player. A victory is only when you actually get in first place. Hence the difference.
