Nick moderation

Hi there, several months ago, someone presented a complaint about my nick, in that moment was "drac_negre", that means "black dragon" in catalan.
The moderators of this web, without telling me nothing, decided to change my nick for "drac_n" and sent me and advertisment about offensive language (?????????!!!! For who? The white dragons????).
I repplied them asking to translate my original nick everywhere they wanted, and see if there's some offensive translation anywhere...
I want my nick back. I suppose that someone that moderates a nick and send and advertisment without making any type of corroboration will not appologise, but, at least, I wanna my nick.

I am sorry for your nicksperience.

I find nothing wrong with your former nickname, as you explained it, even if "drac" in Romanian, means "devil" ! (not to mention there are a lot of active usernames with "devil" in them, at the moment).

But it's obvious from the "negre" adjective, that it's about another language (not Romanian, because the 2 words wouldn't make sense together if it was Romanian), where it could mean something else - in this case, Catalan : "drac" = "dragon" !!!!
Easy.

It's funny that they edited the "negre" part of your nick, which I assume, refers to "black" in most parts of the world where it's used (if not all). :)))))

I guess it's safe to think that a player with the nickname "Black Swan" (or something similar) could very well be moderated for racism around here, if someone finds it inappropriate.

Any word could mean something potentially offensive in a certain language, I guess; it's about making the right calls, I think, when dealing with those words.

If i see for instance a nickname of a player from Croatia (or any other country) - "P*la_traveller", I wouldn't report or moderate that player, because even if the P word is a slang in some parts... 🀭☺️🀬 it is also a city in Croatia.
So...

Hope you get your nickname back.
If not, you can try renaming this one with something similar to the one you had, hoping you won't be moderated again (from what I recall, I think any player can change username once only; but I'm not sure if the edit they did is taken into consideration), or you can delete this one and create another (it's unfair).
