Board Game Arena

i currently play stonage kingdomino and a couple others are there any other good gams that are entry level and simple to learn but can be challenging to master

also a big fan of dice based games.

Games that are mid-level (like Kingdomino and Stone Age) and involve dice:

I'd recommend kingdom builder, patchwork, cubirds, chakra and flaming pyramids for fairly simple to learn with some room for depth/strategy.
I love racing games and most of the ones here are good: rallyman GT (route planning, push your luck), Downforce (bidding and betting) and Automobiles (bag building).
Some classics that are good and pretty easy to learn are Troyes, Splendor, carcassone (hunters and gatherers is the better version IMO) and St. Petersburg (and also castles of burgundy though it's a little harder to learn).

Mostly good suggestions - but Troyes?? It's a great game but several orders of magnitude harder to learn than anything else in that list - including Castles of Burgundy (which really isn't so bad, although definitely a step or three beyond "gateway"). In addition the BGA implementation of Troyes isn't particularly beginner-friendly - lots about it is very confusing unless you already have a firm grasp of the rules.
