Board Game Arena

I am a premium member, and have set my color preference to green.

In the 3 games I have played (granted, that's not a huge sample size) I have been first player each time. If I recall correctly, the player order has always been Green, Red, Yellow, Blue.

Is this just strange luck, or is this an issue with color choices in this game?

A coincidence. I specifically tested it during beta.

Darn. I thought the RNG playing favorites for premium members (Y'know, like it does in Backgammon and Can't Stop) applied here as well...

The colors assigned by player count are always in this order: red, green, blue, yellow, purple. Aka, if there are 2 players without preferences, the colors will always be red 1st player and green 2nd player.

BGA determines the player order randomly at the start, and color preferences are taken into account (so purple 1st and red 2nd is possible in a 2 player game if someone has purple preference, the other player has no preference, and the purple player is randomly chosen to be first player by BGA).
