Collective undo option for friendly or training mode games

In friendly games, sometimes there is a situation where everyone can agree a mistake was made: a player clicked a game element when they were trying to only scroll or look at a tooltip... or accidentally ended their whole turn, when they meant to only end one phase. If we were playing a cardboard game with my family IRL, we could all agree to go back. This is different than a simple ‘undo’ because in could involve some “bending” of the rules (such as if new information has already been revealed, another player has started their turn, or dice have been re-rolled).
Perhaps this could be implemented as a “return to an earlier move #” feature? with a vote like the one that is initiated by the ‘propose to collectively abandon the game’ feature.
It would reduce anxiety and enhance enjoyment for kids, and guys with fat fingers. ;)

General undo feature is one of the most upvoted tickets.
However, it is practically impossible to implement undo for every game especially when the game development is basically voluntary.
