question about tournaments

Recently a bug report was filed against Abandon All Artichokes (AAA) because there is no tiebreaker for second and further places (The winner is clear.)

I don't know anything about tournaments on BGA. Where can I read more about them?
Adding the tiebreakers as suggested has some downsides.
Arena mode for AAA is done in two-player mode, and I'd suggest that to everyone that holds a tournament including AAA. Can this be enforced somewhere, or where would I document this?
